Over the last 15 years I’ve generated media coverage for the owners, managing directors and senior executives of some of the biggest and fastest growing brands in tech, online and retail.
My career didn’t start in earnest until I joined Bite Communications, a company full of people to whom I owe a great deal and where I made the leap into Business To Business PR.
My time there wasn’t always easy but it was in that converted fire station in Chiswick that I learnt the art of PR. It’s no accident that my peers have gone on to either run their own businesses or hold senior positions at mega brands like Microsoft, Apple and Google.
While I was at Bite I worked on companies both big and small. One minute I might be heading up the Samsung account and the next I’d be putting together a strategy for launching a new startup eCommerce site.
Since leaving Bite I’ve been surprised at just how many companies appear to have had a bad experience with PR.
